Welcome to the Official website of the Hastings & St Leonards Veterans Association

Patron: H.R.H. The Duchess of Cornwall

The Association was founded in 2007 by Peter White, ex Queen’s Reg, following the issue by the MoD of the Veterans Lapel badge, which is awarded to all those who have served in HM Armed Forces in recognition of their service.

The Association has grown to over 120 members from across the town, as well as a healthy number of associate members. Many former service men and women feel isolated and forgotten when their own association is disbanded and their colours are laid up due to dwindling numbers.

We exist to provide an umbrella for those who wish to continue to meet their old comrades and enjoy the camaraderie of years gone by.

2010 has seen the Association receive Royal recognition, when HRH The Duchess of Cornwall graciously consented to be the Association’s very first Patron, and members are very proud of this achievement, which has proved to be a real morale booster.

The Association meets on the first Saturday of every month at 10:30hrs at the Hastings & St Leonards Angling Association on Hastings seafront.

Members can enjoy a delicious meal after the meeting or visit the bar.

The Association are very grateful to the angling association for allowing our members to use their premises, which are disability compliant.
